- Scrape without gouging. Room masked, texture wet-scraped so the drywall paper underneath survives. Pre-1980 homes get an asbestos test recommendation first.
- Skim-coated whole ceiling. Old seams, scrape marks, and patches skim-coated flat. The surface reads even under raking light.

Common questions
What about asbestos in pre-1980 homes?
We recommend an asbestos test before we scrape. If positive, we don't touch it — the correct move is licensed abatement, then we come back and finish.
How long does a whole-house removal take?
1–2 days per average bedroom, longer for open-plan main floors. Includes scrape, skim, prime, and finish paint.
Will the drywall show damage after scraping?
No. The wet-scrape technique preserves the paper. Any spots that gouge get skim-coated flat before priming. Ceiling reads new.
